The Shijiazhuang Digital Economy Industry Investment Matchmaking Conference was held in Shijiazhuang on October 25th to deepen the achievements of 2023 China International Digital Economy Expo, strengthen and optimize the digital industry in Shijiazhuang, and leverage the radiation and driving role of the digital economy in traditional industries. The conference, with the theme of "See the Future of Digital Economy and Create the Digital Industry Ecology", is hosted by the People’s Government of Shijiazhuang City and organized by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce and the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.

In recent years, with a focus on the direction of digital industrialization and industrial digitization, Shijiazhuang has relied on platforms such as the China International Digital Economy Expo and the pilot city for digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises to introduce a series of support policies, build an industrial ecosystem, and enhance innovation capabilities. As of now, over 24,000 5G base stations have been built in Shijiazhuang City, and 52 provincial-level industrial internet innovation and development pilot projects have been continuously built. More than 18,000 enterprises have been promoted to the cloud, and three digital economy industrial parks, including Zhengding County, Luquan District, and High tech Zone, covering a total area of 26,000 mu, have been planned. A basic industrial system has been formed, consisting of semiconductor, modern communication, automotive electronics, and electronic information service industries so as to accelerate the construction of the “China Digital New City”.

This matchmaking conference invited more than 30 outstanding representatives of domestic digital economy enterprises and fund managers to participate, aiming to leverage the role of the China International Digital Economy Expo as a normalized preparatory mechanism, build a multi-party communication platform for the integration and development of the digital economy and the real economy, enable everyone to engage in deeper exchanges, explore more cutting-edge technologies, and promote the landing of multi-party cooperation achievements in Shijiazhuang, share the development opportunities and digital wave dividends of the "Digital New City".

Peng Lihui, Secretary General of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, stated that as the provincial capital city of Hebei Province, Shijiazhuang has formulated the Shijiazhuang Digital Economy Development Plan (2021-2025) to promote the development of the digital economy, and has made the digital economy one of the strategic emerging industries with a focus on development. A series of supportive policies have been introduced, including financial support, tax incentives, and talent introduction. Through this matchmaking conference, more entrepreneurs and investors can understand the current development status and future prospects of the digital economy in Shijiazhuang, and further expand the cooperation areas and investment scale of the digital economy industry.

At the conference, Zhao Gang, President of Saizhi Industry Research Institute, and Li Wen, Chief Researcher of Shengshijing Asset Management Group Co., Ltd., delivered keynote speeches on New Opportunities for Digital Economy Development in Shijiazhuang and Capital Investment and Cooperation for Win-Win. The Industrial and Information Technology Bureau of Shijiazhuang City, the People’s Government of Luquan District of Shijiazhuang City, and the Management Committee of Shijiazhuang High tech Zone are respectively responsible for policy and investment promotion.

The conference also carefully selected representatives from enterprises in fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things to give speeches, and the attending representatives jointly discussed the development strategies of Shijiazhuang’s digital economy industry.
